Croydon's Community Diagnostic Centres

Community diagnostic centres (CDCs) have been launched across the country as a  ‘one stop shop’ for NHS testing,  working to reduce long waits and provide wider access to the care you need.

New Addington Community Diagnostic Centre

Planned to open in 2026, our New Addington CDC will enable us to offer additional diagnostic services for a wide range of patient's needs.

Our CDC's help us issue specialist advice on diagnosis, reduce the length of time patients are waiting for care following a referral and provide increased access to essential health services to those who need it most.

Our first CDC in Purley has successfully helped us deliver care to patients closer to their homes since opening in January 2024.

Both locations were selected in an effort to help us  reduce health  inequalities by helping those who need our care most, ensuring it is more accessible to locals living in some of the areas that are harder to reach.

The site (the former New Addington Leisure Centre) will be central, easily accessible for residents - less than a 5minute walk from New Addington tram stop.
