Quality Strategy 2026-29
At Croydon Health Services, our vision is to provide excellent care for all and help people in Croydon live healthier lives.
Our new Quality Strategy 2026-2029 sets out how we will improve the safety, effectiveness and experience of care across our hospital and community services over the next three years. It reflects what patients, carers, staff and partners have told us matters most and outlines the action we will take to deliver better outcomes for the communities we serve.
The strategy focuses on four key goals:
-
Continuously reducing preventable harm and improving patient safety
-
Achieving the best possible clinical outcomes
-
Improving the experience of patients and families
-
Delivering care in the most effective and efficient way
Our priorities include reducing waiting times, improving access to care, eliminating corridor care, strengthening maternity and community services, improving patient experience and making better use of digital technology to support people to access the care they need.
We are committed to working in partnership with patients, carers, local communities and system partners to shape and improve our services. By listening to feedback and involving people in decisions about their care, we can ensure our services meet the needs of our diverse population, now and in the future.
The Quality Strategy also supports our ambition to become a high reliability organisation , where safety, learning and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything we do.
