Electronic referrals (eRS)
GP referrals to all our consultant-led services are available through e-RS, please see our A to Z of services for more information.
Advice & Guidance and Advice & Refer (A&G/A&R)
Croydon Health Services has adopted the Advice & Refer (A&R) model for the majority of its consultant-led services. This approach enables referrers to access specialist advice and supports a more streamlined referral process for patients.
To access these services, submit an Advice request through e-RS and ensure that conversion to referral is authorised if you would like the patient to be booked directly following specialist review.
After reviewing the request, the specialist will:
- Provide advice and guidance where ongoing management can remain in primary care; or
- Convert the request into a referral where an outpatient appointment is clinically required.
This model is available to both local and out-of-area referrers for participating services.
