Day in the Life Episode 3: Roshen Bernadet

Hidden Heroes: Day in the Life as told by our staff in Croydon
This week, we go behind-the-scenes once again to showcase how our #TeamCroydon colleagues are caring for our patients.
Giving a unique insight into what makes #TeamCroydon, we speak to our staff on the frontline and in essential support roles, to find out in their own words:
· What do they enjoy most about their role?
· How COVID-19 has impacted them?
· What makes them proud to work for Croydon Health Services?
This week we visit the Maternity Ward at Croydon University Hospital, where Roshen Bernadet, speaks to us about her role as one of our fantastic Maternity Support Workers.
In addition to her work duties, Roshen opens up about her personal hobby of painting, where she shows us her piece titled ‘Black Madonna’ which she painted over the Christmas period to represent love and social justice, in support of the Black Lives Matter movement.
Check out Roshen’s ‘Day in the Life’ video below or you can find it on our Instagram: @croydonhealthservices and our Twitter: @croydonhealth
Over the coming weeks, Day in the Life, will highlight the efforts of our doctors, surgeons, nurses and midwives, but also our teams behind the scenes, such as our cleaners, porters, administrators and volunteers.
