Temporary closure of main entrance disabled parking bays

Patients and visitors to Croydon University Hospital are advised that the disabled parking bays opposite the main entrance will be temporarily unavailable as part of ongoing improvement works to the hospital's main entrance.

The disabled bays opposite the CUH main entrance will be out of use on Wednesday 2 September 2026 for one day only.

The temporary closure is required to allow the safe installation of temporary toilet facilities, which are being put in place while the main entrance toilets undergo refurbishment.

The temporary toilet facilities form part of a wider programme of improvements to the hospital's main entrance, including new toilet facilities, a replacement reception desk, and upgrades to flooring and lighting.

To help minimise disruption, advisory signage will be displayed around the site and information about temporary arrangements will be available on the day.

Patients, visitors and carers are thanked for their patience and understanding while these essential improvements are carried out.
