Croydon Health Services NHS Trust announces sponsors for staff recognition awards

Following their category sponsorship last year, the Trust’s facilities management partner, ISS, will be returning in 2025 as the event’s first ever headline sponsor. As one of the UK’s leading providers of workplace and healthcare support services the company delivers a range of essential services at the Trust, including cleaning, catering and portering and the team have expressed their excitement to be involved for the second year in a row to celebrate their many staff who care for the people of Croydon.

Donna Brown, Managing Director of ISS UK Healthcare, said:

“We are delighted to be returning as the main sponsor for the Trust's 2025 awards. As a proud partner of the NHS it was an honour to see first-hand the fantastic achievements of so many NHS staff and volunteers last year and with our shared values of service and respect, we’re proud to once again help celebrate the people who make a difference every day, often behind the scenes and under pressure. These awards are a powerful reminder of the impact NHS staff have on so many lives.”

The Trust also acknowledges the valued contributions of the following sponsors, each supporting individual award categories and the evening’s entertainment:

  • Croydon GP Collaborative (Excellence in Primary care category)

  • HATS Group (Rising Star category)

  • UNISON (Star of the Year and Giving Back Champion categories)

  • Wates Group (Safety, Quality and Sustainability Champion category)

  • Capsticks (Croydon Stars entertainment)

Matthew Kershaw, Chief Executive of Croydon Health Services NHS Trust added:

"We are delighted to confirm this year’s sponsors whose generosity and partnership are helping make the 2025 awards possible. This year, the Trust received over 400 nominations from staff across a wide range of services, a powerful reflection of the strong culture of appreciation and teamwork at Croydon Health Services. Each nomination recognises the impact of colleagues who lead with empathy, take pride in their work and inspire those around them, and it's important we continue to recognise them, even with the current financial challenges facing the NHS, So a big thank you for the significant contributions of both our headline and category sponsors, which play a key role in making the awards a reality.

Further sponsorship opportunities remain for businesses or partners interested in supporting staff recognition and wellbeing within the NHS. Interested organisations are encouraged to contact Laura Kennedy, Head of Fundraising, at laura.kennedy8@nhs.net to find out more.
