The delivery suite has eleven labour rooms, ensuite facilities, bright, fresh décor, with dimmable lighting, individual temperature control and comfort cooling, the calm and comfortable atmosphere allows you to experience as normal labour and birth as possible with the support of doctors and midwives.
If you choose to have an epidural our team of anaesthetists are able to provide this option for pain relief. There are two operating theatres within the delivery suite for women when it is necessary to give birth by caesarean section.
We aim to make labour and birth as private and special as possible, wherever you choose to give birth. Each room has a computer so that midwives can update information immediately whilst providing confidentiality and there are facilities for women with disabilities, ensuring that we can cater for all local women’s needs.
