Croydon Stars 2022 'Star of the Year' finalists are here

Croydon stars shortlist poster

The shortlist is in and we have our finalists ready for the deserving winner to be announced on 9 November 2022.

After a two-year hiatus, our much-anticipated Croydon Stars staff award has returned, bigger and better than ever before.

With even more categories this year, Croydon Stars gives us the chance to come together to recognise those who are the backbone of our Trust. Those who, even during incredibly difficult times, are still committed to ensuring they deliver the best care possible to our Croydon community. It is our amazing staff who help keep us safe, and so now is our chance to truly say 'Thank you'.

Nominations were invited from members of the public for individual members of staff or teams for our 'Star of the Year' award. The award shines a light on an individual/team who has demonstrated extra kindness and humanity to a patient. They will have made a significant and memorable difference to the life and experience of the patient and their families in either our hospital or community services

The awards are the Trust's opportunity to celebrate the best of CHS, recognising the hard work, dedication and fabulous care given by our staff members and teams who are committed to keeping Croydon well, and this year we will be showcasing even more of our colleagues than ever before.

We are grateful to those who took the time to send in their nominations, with an impressive near 300 nominations for our 'Star of the Year' award and well over 800 nominations in total!

The shortlist has now been released and our winners will be announced at our award ceremony on 9 November. If your nominee is selected, we will contact and invite you to the event, so that you can help us celebrate our Trust's stars!
