The Lucina Team
The Lucina team of midwives are based 
at Croydon University Hospital, caring for women with low risk pregnancies. If you’re looked after by the Lucina team, all of your appointments will occur at the Lucina Birth Centre, which should be your preferred place to give birth.
Your care will be provided by a small team of midwives throughout your pregnancy, birth and postnatal period, meaning you will be allocated two named midwives who will care for you during your pregnancy and aim to deliver your baby.
