Day in the Life Season 2 Episode 3 - Children's Asthma Team

Day in the Life: Talented Teams

Season 2 of Day in the Life is well underway. Our IT and Operational Theatres teams have already featured and this time we hand over the spotlight to our fantastic Children's Asthma Team.

Offering you a deeper perspective into what keeps #TeamCroydon going, we speak to our staff on the frontline and in essential support roles, to find out in their own words:

· What do they enjoy most about their role?

· How the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted them?

· What makes them proud to work for Croydon Health Services NHS Trust?

To celebrate #WorldAsthmaDay2021, which was earlier this week (5 May), we went behind-the-scenes to show you how the team work tirelessly to provide care for children with asthma within our Croydon community.

Jo and Jakki, along with Lynda, the third member of their team, gave us the inside scoop into why their team is unique and the vital service they provide to their young patients.  The team are full of energy and ideas – a sure sign that they love the job that they do!

Check out the Asthma Teams ‘Day in the Life’ video below or you can find it on our Instagram: @croydonhealthservices  and our Twitter: @croydonhealth

Watch out for the remainder of series two, where we will continue to highlight the great efforts of our fantastic #TeamCroydon colleagues – next up, to end the season, is our Crocus Home Birth team.
