Croydon Nurse Recruitment Day - Friday 02 September 2016   

Croydon Health Services is a great place for a nursing. As a district general hospital we offer the opportunity to get solid experience in an environment that supports your development as a nurse, with a wide range of clinical areas to get involved in.

We are currently looking for nurses to join us across the Trust. We have an Open day on Friday 2 September, 10am - 2pm at Shirley House, Croydon University Hospital, This event is a great opportunity to find out more about these roles, what it is like to work at the Trust. Refreshments will be provided.

At our open day we will be offering a “1-stop-shop”, where you will have an opportunity to Speak with senior staff from your area of interest, have a Tour of the relevant department and hospital, as well as offering Assessments and Interviews, and you could leave with a Job Offer on the same day.

We have vacancies in the following areas:

  • Paediatric Ward,
  • Paediatric Emergency Department,
  • Medical, Surgical & Elderly Care Wards,
  • Theatres,
  • Endoscopy,
  • School Nursing and Community Services.

We are looking for:

  • Staff Nurses (qualified and newly qualified)
  • Theatre Practitioners
  • Community Nurses
  • School Nurses.

Preceptorship programme

All newly qualified nurses who join the Trust are enrolled in our preceptorship scheme which offers a carefully planned way to develop clinical skills with the guidance and support of experienced clinicians. The scheme includes one-to-one mentoring and a named ‘buddy’ in the Trust for support and guidance. Further career advice is also available to help you plan for the future.

Experienced Nurses

If you want to develop your career in nursing then the Trust has the challenge you’re looking for. We have several opportunities for senior nurse roles within the trust, and provide career clinics for our staff to help develop and guide them along their chosen path.
