Ears, Nose and Throat

Ear, nose and throat specialists or ENT doctors, specialise in the diagnosis, management and treatment of disorders affecting the head and neck, including the ears, nose throat, sinuses, voice box (larynx) and other structures.


ENT department

The Croydon ENT department consists of a highly skilled team of doctors and specialist nurses committed to delivering high quality care to adults and children. 

The team treat patients who are referred for a number of conditions affecting the ears, nose and throat including deafness, tinnitus (ringing in the ear), ear infections, sinus problems, snoring, voice problems and swallowing difficulties.

The team work closely with Audiology and the Speech and Language Therapy department.


ENT surgery is performed at our day surgery unit with the option of laser surgery for certain procedures.  In-patient and emergency cover is given by our surgeons at St George's Healthcare NHS Trust.

Out-patient clinics operate at Croydon University Hospital and Purley War Memorial Hospital plus dedicated clinics for children at the The Crystal Children's Development Centre.
