Patients are not only benefitting from staff working the LiA way; they are also being given the opportunity to participate and influence the services they receive.

We have successfully used the LiA approach to ensure that we are listening to patients, stakeholders and staff, we are being open about how we are doing, and we are responding to what we are told.

Our Chief Executive John Goulston has led a series of LiA conversation so that we can have a clear understanding about where our patients, stakeholders and staff feel that we should focus our attention to have the maximum impact on patient care and how staff feel about working here. The feedback received at these events helps to inform priorities for action in the upcoming year and ensure that any major issues are addressed.
