Medical and surgical paediatrics

 

The paediatric department aims to look after all the needs of sick children with clinics at Croydon University Hospital, New Addington and Purley.

The team has specialist interests in diabetes, adolescent medicine, nephrology, infectious diseases, cardiology, child development, sickle cell disease, haemaglobinopathies, neurology, oncology (cancer) and breathing disorders. 

The service has links to gastroenterologists locally as well as at Great Ormond Street Hospital, St George’s and St Helier’s hospitals.

Treatment

For allergy related conditions, the service works with St George’s and Great Ormond Street hospital. Visiting specialists also come to Croydon University Hospital to help provide the service to our local community, covering:
