Family nurse partnership

The family nurse partnership (FNP) is a national evidence based programme which aims to improve the antenatal health, child health and development and parents’ economic self sufficiency in disadvantaged young families.

The service provides dedicated support to parents to ensure that new families get the best start. The service is for those aged 19 years or under going through their first pregnancy; do not plan on adoption and living in Croydon. Priority is given to women who can be enrolled onto the FNP programme by 16 weeks of gestation.

This service is based at Lennard Road and care is provided in the community and patients’ homes.
