Children's services


Croydon Health Services has a number of paediatric services where GPs can refer young patients. 

The Trust offers integrated acute and community children's services ensuring children and their families received high quality joined up care.  

Services offer clinics and care at Croydon University Hospital, Purley War Memorial Hospital, in the community, children's centres, in schools and in patients homes.

The Crystal Children's Development Centre is dedicated to children's community health services for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).


GPs can refer to the following children's services:  

Children's audiology

Children's hospital at home (CHAH)

Children's medical services

Children's occupational therapy

Children's physiotherapy

Children's speech and language therapy

Family nurse partnership

Medical and surgical paediatrics


Additional (non-referral) services include: 

Health visitors

Looked after children

Newborn hearing screening

School nursing
