On 20 August 2017 Croydon University Hospital opened a new Resuscitation Department, providing patients in ‘life or death’ emergencies with almost twice as many beds (from five to eight) and a range of upgrades. Major £1.2 million upgrade to Croydon’s cardiology care

Croydon University Hospital has moved all of its cardiology care under one roof in a major £1.2 million upgrade. Patients will now benefit from £188,000 of upgraded equipment and a £1 million purpose-built Croydon Heart Centre. It is located on-site behind the main reception area, in the London Wing (the Blue Zone on hospital maps).
