Renal Services

The Renal service provide an effective and timely opinion and management plan for renal disease.

Three nephrologists run frequent outpatient clinics for every variety of renal disease and for preparation for dialysis and transplantation.

We see around 10-15 inpatients with a variety of acute renal problems per week, and recommend ITU/renal unit transfer for dialysis and haemofiltration, inpatient renal biopsies on site and elective and acute renal angioplasties.

There is a growing haemodialysis unit on the Croydon University hospital site, run by the two consultants also based at Epsom-St Helier.

Please bring a list of your current medication. Also be prepared to provide a urine sample on your first visit.
