Occupational Therapy Appointments

How to make an appointment if I am an Inpatient?

For Inpatients on the wards there is an informal appointment system for the Occupational Therapy staff to see patients. The Occupational Therapist usually makes a verbal arrangement with the patient or patient’s relative to see them at a convenient time fitting in with other treatments the patient may be having.

How to make an appointment if I am an Outpatient?

For Outpatients attending the Occupational Therapy Department there is a written appointment system.

Patents are either given or posted an appointment card at the time the appointment is made.

Patients wishing to change or enquire about their appointments should phone reception on 020 8401 3121.

When attending the Outpatient service, patients are invited to bring any splints they may already have for review. Patients are requested to attend at the time stated on their appointment card. Whenever possible we try to see patients who may call in without an appointment or who wish for an appointment at a particular time but this depends on staff availability.
