Carers Information Service
Do you regularly care for a family member who is currently a patient? Are you likely to be caring for a family member once they leave hospital?
Within the Trust, carers might find helpful support at:
- The Macmillan Information and Support Centre: supports people with cancer and their families and carers.
- Joint Community Learning Disability team: offer guidance and support for people with learning disability, their families and carers.
There are a number of organisations in Croydon and nationally offering support services to carers. You can find details of many of them and the kinds of services and support they offer on AgeUK’s directory of services or in the Whitgift Foundation’s Carers’ Information Service’s Guide for Carers in Croydon.
For more information on how to contact these groups, contact PALS.
