Generous patient leaves Trust £10,000 in her will
29 February 2012

A former patient has generously left £10,000 in her will to Croydon Health Services, in recognition of the care she received while being treated on Heathfield 1 Ward in January last year.

The family of Mrs Savitaben Purshottam Patel say she was a very caring person, who always had a big smile on her face.

Her nephew, Jayant Patel, speaking on behalf of their family said: “We have no words to express the sad loss of our beloved aunty who passed away at Croydon University Hospital last January at the age of 83.

“Members of the family would like to express our gratitude to all of those who looked after her during for her brief stay on the ward. We appreciate your efforts to make her stay as comfortable as possible.

“We are so happy to donate some of her estate legacy to Croydon Health Services, according to her wishes. With love from all of us in her family.”
