The service aims to provide person-centred care by working in partnership with the patient and carer to enable the patient to regain and maximise their full potential, as their condition allows, with the aim of discharging them from the service within a 6 week period.

Musculoskeletal physiotherapy (MCATS)

The service aims to provide care for benign musculoskeletal conditions across the borough that is accessible, timely and well coordinated across multi-agencies and health care personnel. It provides assessment and treatment to decrease pain, and specifically referrals are accepted for any client experiencing musculoskeletal pain or dysfunction, for example any spinal or peripheral joint pains or soft tissue dysfunctions or injuries.

Falls prevention and risk assessment for people aged 65 years or older, registered with a Croydon General Practitioner (GP), who have had a fall and/or are identified as at risk of falls and/or at risk of osteoporosis.

Community Neurorehabilitation Team (CRNT)

The Community Neurorehabilitation Team is a specialist rehabilitation service with a co-ordinated inter-disciplinary therapy team.  It is for people who have had an acute neurological event or a deterioration in function due to their neurological condition. We aim to deliver a comprehensive rehabilitation programme for people with acquired brain injury for a maximum period of 8 weeks focusing on patient specific goal setting.
